Tonko Easily Holds on to NY-20 Congressional District
By: Emily DeFranco Rep. Paul Tonko will enter his fourth term as representative of New York’s 20th Congressional District defeating Jim Fischer in the 2014 midterm election. Tonko, D-Amsterdam, received 118,993 votes winning him 61 percent of the district’s votes while Fischer received 75,491 votes, putting him at 39 percent, according to The Associated Press.…
