Try to run, try to hide, but everything must come to an end.
A dystopian society tears his life apart, leaving him alone, tired, and questioning the choices that his fellow countrymen have made to get him into that this situation in the first place. He fled his home knowing they would follow him, but it seemed like a better choice than the alternative – being captured and tortured by the so called “Peacemakers”. At least being eaten by a bear or starving to death is a quick ending compared to what they would do to him. Giving up isn’t a choice. Fighting is the only option.
